Getting to this place seems so complicated that it may be easier to drive to Roi Et and visit the most magnificent temple in Thailand which I notice has not been included in your blog so far Richard.

@allan ford - I understand what you mean but half the beauty of this day trip is the journey there. Where else can you have this kind of adventure, where no-one speaks English and there is no public transport, but you are still within sight of Bangkok?
