Thanks so much for the write-up - glad you liked the apps!

One point, regarding the pins, it depends on the app. For the islands we tend just to mark the properties, but others, say like Luang Prabang or Angkor Wat then there are pins for the sights plus the various walking tours (we don't have walking tours in the island apps, but a good idea to add them in -- personally I only walk from the bungalow to the water's edge :)

Thanks again

Stuart

Thanks for the feedback. You are right about the island being so small that there isn't really much there to mark on the map other than the places to stay. I guess with the Angkor Wat and Luang Prabang apps though this feature would prove to be invaluable. Hopefully I can test them all out in the field one day!

There are also a number of dictionaries and translators to be bought. Any experiences about these? I´ve downloaded "The Thai Translator"-app and It has been quite useful, needs some further developing though.

I usually use my iPhone for phone calls (obviously), Twitter, e-mail, Facebook and dictionaries. I haven't tried travel guides apps yet, but they are are worth trying out!
