Mai pen rai... Be happy! ... here is a comment! Your entry on the gilded stone balls answered my question... I attended the 9-day celebration of the consecration of a new ubosot at Wat Tam Khao Mai Ruak in Prichuap Khiri Kahn on February 21, 2010. The Chao Attikahn -- Denduang "Ajahn Den" Nakaton -- has become a mentor, friend and colleague over the course of my 4 visits to this monastery in Thap Sakae over the past two years. I did not quite understand the purpose of the balls so your explanation was helpful. I'm looking forward to reading your other posts.... Take care!
