Love the article, great photos as well. I'm wondering what kind of things are being done to get the elephant population back on the rise. I'll be going back to Thailand in two weeks, it'll be nice to spend some time with these amazing animals again.

In Amsterdam is a big outdoor exhibition with 112 elephants who are decorated by Dutch and Thai artists
It is called the Elephant Parade. The opening was on 5 september.At the end of the exhibition there will be a public sale at Cristie's

Sad to note that the "Chang" population have dwindle so tremendously.
This should be made a yearly street demonstration by the "Chang" and NGOs to bring awareness to World leaders about climatic Chang(e).
Deforestration and animal porchers are threathening the balance in the eco-system.
Sooner or later the sea-shores of most countries in the world will sink further when the Arctic Iceberg melts.
