Richard! I'm asking you since you're a real expert on all things thai. As for bintabhat... My mom is coming over to Thailand soon and she's "the mathra stewart of bakery". Do you think we could give monks a nice apple pie or plum pie, etc of farang cooking? This is more a question from her, than myself, she wants to spoil monks with european sweets as she's kind of a religious person in her home country. My husband says ok, but he's thai and "always nice" so ur reply would be appreciated as she's anxious to... bake.
