I just still don't get it - this disease is clearly not more dangerous than regular flu, for the time being. When that is around, children are dropped off at school sick, with a bag of medicine, sneezing and snotting all over the place, making everyone else sick. It did happen today - the kid was confirmed having just a regular virus, so, he is free to spread that one around at school! Brilliant! About a third of my children are droopy and have a lingering fever. Doesn't matter, just the usual thing. But something slightly different comes to town with a fancy name, and people are wearing masks and suddenly learning how to wash their hands? I'm almost wishing we had H1N1 at my school!

I think the flu has been blow out of proportion as it has killed far fewer people than regular flu and no one even thinks about that one.
