That's truly awful, I read this about this on a couple of news outlets but to be honest I didn't pay much attention till now. I really hope that his family and the rest of the students are okay.

"Forbidding him to play AGAIN"--that's too harsh a word use by the father out of impulse anger.
Computer games are not only children who got hook on it,adults too.
I realy sympathise with this child who has finally decided that life is no more meaningful to him without his favorite high tech game.
We have finally lost a bright and brilliant futuristic computer wiz-kid.

Very sad. I doubt he fully understood what he was doing. Very hard on the family. Awful.

My condolence to the parents, family and friends.I really hope that this will never happen again in the future. It is his karma to die like this but to anybody who have kids at home will feel sad about this.It is totally wrong to entirely blame the parents for what has happened as we do know the real story.Who can tell how the parents feel right now.The newspaper should put anymore blame upon the parents. Please show some respect to them.Thay are human too.My God bless him and the family.

Dreadful. If it's any consolation, as a former suicide counsellor, many of those who are genuinely intent on suicide rather than seeking attention, give very little hint of their intentions at all. You would have to be a mind reader and an expert in body language to even have a clue about what could be around the corner. Those he texted must wonder if they might not have done more though, and will probably be feeling very guilty. I hope they and their families are getting the help and support they need, as well as the child's own family.

As someone who's almost done the same thing twice now, I have absolutely no sympathy for the father. You never get the whole story unless you're inside the family, and even then, you'll never really know what happened that droves a person to commit such an act, and you can't really tell another person about the kinds of things that go on when outsiders aren't around.

It definitely wasn't just 'banning' him from playing games that caused him to suicide. I'm sure he was abused in one way or another.

My sympathy goes out to everyone except his father.

Be careful that other students do not do the same thing. Suicide among children can easily spread around like an illness. That's what happened where I live. First it was this one kid, then another, and then yet another... Children often live under huge amounts of pressure these days, and if they see that one of them has found a way to end it, some might choose to follow. They do not fully comprehend what life and death are, so they are at an even higher risk than most adults. Please keep that in mind...

My sincere sympathy to you and the school family who knew this boy. It is my feeling that nobody needs to take blame for Arm's death. It was meant to be.

I started reading this entry yesterday, but I could not manage to finish it. So I decided to read it again today from where I left it the previous day.

Inexperience may result in someone being so overwhelmed emotionally that they are inconsolable and unable to express their negative feelings to anyone.

Anguish happens when the child learns they can make decisions, without knowing why.

RIP

This is a tragic story ending to such a promising life. I hope everyone comes out a stronger person so at least something can be taken from this tragedy.
