I have found that 'pud gra-pao' with minced meat tastes better than stir-fried basil leaves with sliced meat. This is just my personal preference. I like pud-gra-pao with 'gai sub' (ground chicken).

Stir-fried basil leaves with 'goong sub' would be another option.

Try substituting the basil leaves with kaffir leaves (curry leaves) and add 3 spoonfuls of dried cereals (oats).
