Wow! That looks like something out of Disney!
Is that a Wat at the top of the tower?
I wonder what the story behind the construction is.

This is the Bhavana Buddho Religionspark. Nowadays it is a little scary I think, after there was the scandal about the founder, that was involved in several abusing of children, it was not so popular anymore and it looks a little like a Ghostcity.

this is one of the most freaky things I have seen recently :-) glad I didn't bump into it personally, might have fallen off my motorcycle.
interesting, the kinds of things we find when we just "get lost" :-)

May I ask if anyone knows what the address of the North Korean restaurant in Bangkok is and what is the shortest and cheapest way I can get there. Thank you

"I think I got as far as the tenth floor when my way was blocked by a padlocked door. The place was pretty dirty on the inside and so I am not sure if many people actually use the inside of this building. On a couple of floors though it looked like some monks were living there. But there was an odour of something that smelled like bat droppings."

I think thats the sad part in most attractions in Thailand. Nicely built, but poor maintainence. Reminds me of the time when I was in K'buri and was informed of a "famous" local cave temple but the place was deserted and poorly maintained that I didn't dare to proceed further.
