Your usual excellent standard Richard.
I have noticed that the teenage school children on the MRT are more commonly overweight each time I wisit Thailand. Also last time I was there I saw my first skateboarder in a car park.
Both these observations made me feel sad.I wish the powers that be would wise up to these trends that will do no good for Thai culture.

It is interesting to see how schools in Thailand operate and to compare them to our own school life when we were younger. Things are certainly different. I look forward to reading part two.
