That's great. I've driven past this place many times and always been curious about what it's like inside. I'll definitely stop off one of these days. Shame they just have tents and not a hotel. I'd like to have a few beers in the saloon and a Lao steak for breakfast.

Thanks for your report. You are certainly a busy person what with your teaching and writing travel guides. It is good to hear that the TAT have recognized how useful thai-blogs is to promoting Thailand. Farm Chokchai looks like a good place to visit. I might take my family there.

Japan and Hong Kong also have Disneyland, so I suppose this 'Western' farm in Thailand is OK.

I've been to Chokchai's restaurant before and had a terrific steak - highly recommended eatery.

They have like camping package where you get to stay 1 or 2 nights in the farm for the "farm experience"? Around 3k baht up or something. Best time to go is end of the year where its most cooling. I also dropped by for steaks during my trip to Khorat. But I think they also have the restaurants in Asoke, Bangkok.

We've stopped off there several times on the way to and from Buriram. Their steaks are good, and they do a good "steakburger" too. The ice cream sold at the kiosk just off the road is also very good
