I said after my last stay in Pattaya-en-route to Bangkok from Chanthaburi, I would never visit Pattaya again-however, now I have some decent cameras, this makes it awfully tempting-it looks wonderful. Any chance of some more directions/map?

I have marked it here on Google maps for you. Just head south from Pattaya on Sukhumwit Road. It is a little further than Underwater World.

When driving to Satahip last august, we saw they were building a new floating market overthere. Funny, i thought. So it's already open ? And free entrance !
Good news for my stepfamily and the kids. Will check it out next time then. Thanks for the info Richard.

Was there a couple of weeks ago and didn't know about this market. Will definitely go there the next time round. Thanks again for an excellent article on the Pattaya market.

The name had me wondering, Floating Market by the sea?!
I usually go to Pataya for my daughter's riding competition at Horseshoe Point, usually with a few hours to kill. So the Floating Market will be a nice change from Ripleys!
Thanks
