Dear Richard Barrow,

We enjoyed your first hand account of the Pattaya Mardi Gras so much we would like your permission and permission from thai-blogs.com to publish it in the February 1st edition of the Pattaya Times, Pattaya's only full-sized, all color English language newspaper.

The Pattaya Times looks similar to the Bangkok Post, except it is all in color and designed by young, talented graphic artists making the layout quite unique.

We are now on our fourth issue of printing the Pattaya Times. The Pattaya Times is a four section, full-color newspaper designed using Adobe's In Design with Local, Regional, National and International news in Section A; Sports in Section B; Arts & Entertainment in Section C and Business, Real Estate and free Classifieds in Section D.

We print 15,000 copies of the Pattaya Times for distribution in Pattaya and beyond each fortnight.

If you agree, we will give you photo credits and your byline in the Pattaya Times.

The link http://www.thai-blogs.com will also appear if you agree. Our website will be completed this month and we will be proud to promote your site.

Our sister site is www.officialthailandinfo.com. We will add your link there also.

The Pattaya Times is the newspaper for the new Pattaya. No dead bodies, no fear mongering.

We focus on entertainment, events, high tech, gadgets, computers, cars, sports, the arts, educational opportunities, business and local news in the Pattaya Times.

Any articles you or your readers would like to submit to the Pattaya Times will be reviewed by our Managing Editor and considered for publication in the Pattaya Times. Credit will always be published for pics or articles unless otherwise requested.

Please send any inquiries to info@pattaya-times-newspaper.com

Excellent article! Your blog is one of the best we have seen. Keep up the good work.

We look forward to a mutual relationship to keep our readers informed. In reciprocity, if you see something in the Pattaya Times newspaper or on our pattaya-times-newspaper.com website, please feel free to contact me direct if you would like to reprint all or part of our content.

Sincerely,

Drew Noyes

Mardi Gras is French and means Fat Tuesday. It is the day before Ash Wednesday, which marks the beginning of Lent. Many cultures around the world hold a festival or Carnival in the days preceding Lent, culminating in the biggest celebrations on Mardi Gras.

in Chiang Mai, usually there is a parade called "Mardi Gras" at the beginning of the tourist season. in November! annoying. someone at TAT should know where the word comes from and why it is just not appropriate.
