I was also disappointed with Ong Bak 2. The two previous Tony Jaa movies were way better.

There are worse places to be stuck, than in Thailand, eh? I saw Ong Bak on one of my first trips to Thailand (2002), and it blew me away. I mean, the story wasn't much but Jaa Phranom is amazing! So I'm not too worried about part II-- as long as the stunts are fresh (unlike Tom Yam Goong).

It was funny my boyfriend and I were just two of the tourists in thailand during the airport siege, we were meant to be leaving on the 2nd but stayed 10 days more because british were being usless but we didnt mind one single bit! It was funny going into the british airways office and seeing all these panicked forigners desperatly taking what ever means they could out of thailand and when we stated to the women in charge that we dont mind waiting a few extra days and gave her our details everyone looked at us like we had gone mad! I well and truely love thailand everyone was so hospitable and lovely and the weather was divine! Which is funny as richard says its getting cold and my dad kept telling us it was freezing but in new zealand the high in summer is 25!! Im glad you enjoyed your trip also, its always nice spending more time with the family :)
