The best is yet to be. Let's hope everyone that wishes to travel to Thailand will take this opportunity to avail themselves of a place where dreams happen!

Welcome all! Thailand appreciates tourism and you'll have the time of your life!

A statement just in from the highly respected Asian Human Rights Commission make it clear that this is "a critical juncture for Thailand, with a dangerous period ahead in which none of the underlying political and social problems that gave rise to the [airport occupations] have been resolved, it is imperative that the law-enforcement agencies perform their duties properly and effectively."

It is good news however it is also sad for land of smiles got some violence & blood shed with confrontation.

Thai has many Charms. Proud civlization, charming hospitality, attractive senic spots, ancient culture & low cost of living.

If the political stabilty can be sustained, I have no doubt that tourists & business will go back there again.

"Tourism is the main source of income for the country"

this statement is absolutely untrue. take a look at the GDP figures for Thailand and you will see that despite what you might like to think, Mr. Farang is actually of little consequence here.

The PAD will soon come out to wreck havoc again soon. Not a very good news for Thailand but I guess this time they will be cautious about hijacking and sieging the airport after incurring the wrath of so many Thais and their own supporters.
