on the auspicious occasion
of His Majesty's 81st Birthday.
Long may His Majesty reign and
be blessed with good health and happiness

I took these pictures this evening at the city hall in Samut Prakan Province. Similar scenes took place all around the country tonight at exactly 7.29 p.m. After pledging allegiance to His Majesty, everyone around the country sang his praises. The skies were then lit up with a grand firework display.

How is it possible that Harry Nicolaides and others like him have to suffer in such a cruel way and for what? As a child I remember watching the King and I and dreamed of the day when I could visit Thailand (Siam). Now, I will never set foot in a country that enforces such an unjust law as Lese Majeste. The royal family must do the right thing and set these prisoners free. Aren't there enough drug traffickers, rapists, murderers, terrorists to keep the royal family busy.
