I hope it is a success -it is good to read of something traditional being attempted rather than ignored.

Maps of location can be found at ThailandQA.com - you can also request help there for more tourist information.

Oh. Great. I had a look at that boat full of leafy vegetables in an enlarged version in the Forums. Those vegetables are quite common in my country as well. I am particularly fond of that banana bud dish which is so tasty and being full of fibre, good for bowels.

Nice pictures, thanks for the guide. I wouldn't mind doing this trip next time. I'm one of those that don't have to visit the "real" floating gardens (or anything of the like), so this one seems to be a nice one away from the tourist trap.

Thanks for this. My brothers-in-law live in Bang Phli so I'll make this trip when I'm there in October/November, and that boat trip too. Much closer than heading over to Damnoen Saduak.

Great work. You found another tourist attraction that isn't in the Lonely Planet. I hope I can go there before it becomes crowded with foreign tourists.

So how to get there by public transport?

Will 537 pass Bang Phli BigC? (so that I can walk from BigC to the abovementioned market)

Can you post your question in the Samut Prakan Forums? It is easier for us to reply there as we can post maps and pictures to help you find your way. The link is already at the bottom of that post.
