Thank you for the detailed introduction of the Rose Garden. I want to try the rice planting part, dressed in a typical farmer's outfit. Yea, I'm not kidding. ^^

Richard, I have always avoided The Rose Garden as most of the descriptions I have read made it sound like commercialised kitch culture. However after reading the blog and seeing your photos it looks a very interesting place - and the morning activities sound particularly good.

Thanks. Looks like a good place to go to learn about Thailand. I will try and go on my next trip to Thailand.

I'm just wondering how they do the rice planting every day - once the visitors are gone, the rice is all pulled out, so the field can be planted again the next day? :-)

The Rose Gardden is really nice. They even have a golf course on site which makes for a good golfer and non-golfer day trip.
