wow!!! The baby tigers are soooo cute!!!

Nong Grace looks so very happy in those pics. She looks like a very bright girl, full of attention. Cute kid

I will have to go there next time. Thanks for the info Richard.

I do wonder, where do all the baby tiger cubs come from? Are they abandoned in the wild or raised in captivity?

Sriracha Tiger Zoo is a great place for kids on holiday in Thailand. It can be done as either a day trip from Bangkok or as an excursion from Pattaya which is slightly closer.

Great blog by the way.....

This is disgusting.

I was at the exact same zoo myself so I have seen all of this first hand, I think the animal cruelty going on in this zoo is a disgrace.

People are blinded by the 'cute' exterior and do not realise how damaging all of these activities are to the animals.

Tiger cubs being taken from their mothers at a terrifyingly early age.

Over-populated crocodile enclosures.

'pig races' ...? Answer me this do animals jump through hoops of fire in the wild? no

This is a shameless money making exploitation of the animals we are trying to protect.

Dont try and tell me that with there thousands of tourists a year that this zoo cannot offord tiger housing larger than 4x4 foot.

Dont be fooled, a tiger does NOT enjoy being force whipped into a perfectly co-ordinated 'tiger pyrimad' for our amusement. (tigers standing on one another)

Do not promote this abuse to the younger innocent generation like Nong Grace.

I agree with the comment above. I've heard pretty terrible things about this place, and have seen some of it on television. It appears to be just another crappy zoo/circus, and one which seems to particularly degrade the animals. Unnatural habitat, animal exploitation, and horrible and insufficient conditions should be enough to unveil the thin mask of 'cuteness'. It's been suspected of selling tigers to china for 'traditional' Chinese medicine and was also under investigation for the death of around 100 tigers from the feeding of infected chickens, yet re-opened soon after.

Boycott this shocking 'tourist attraction'.
