So it should really be called "Dream-On World"? 555

Is this the education camp for thai children for learning Dream World? They have many places in Suphanburi to take the children such as museums and old temples. When can Thai teachers start to learn what is the good thing for the students?

A large group of us (young and young at heart) went to Dream World last summer and had a blast, but your experience Steve sounds quite different from ours. The queues were non-existant and, apart from the go karts, everything was very reasonable. Maybe the cooler weather brings the crowds out. As you say the gardens are beautifully landscaped - perfect for a kitsch wedding photography shoot.

I notice the official Dream World web site is promoting a S.A.W.A.T. Fight The Terrorists (!) Hollywood Action Show. I also found this at discoverythailand.com: "Dream World also features a live ‘Hollywood Action Show’ which up until recently had a dubious display of Nazi Storm Troopers successfully invading an Allied camp."

Best to go on a week day when it's not school holidays, and yes when it is raining, that way you can avoid the queues.

Thanks for the information about Dream
World as i was planning on taking the
kids there at the end of the month. From
what you wrote i will make sure that we get there early. Do you know what time it opens
and closes? Thanks again.

Don't get me wrong, i had a decent day-out, i guess i was just a bit pished that my fave rides were outta action!
What i have read is that Dream World is still way better than Siam Park, which incidentally had a death there not so long ago, after an accident on its 'Super Splash' ride.

Just going on from what Francis asked, i checked out their website, but it is pretty crap to say the least, hardly any decent info on it. So, i just called up Dream World and asked their opening times. They are 10am - 5pm (Mon-Fri) and 10am - 6pm (Sat-Sun).
A little bit surprising, as i am sure they were open before 10am the day we went.
