I visited both Damnoen Saduak and Amphawa a couple weeks ago. I thought that Amphawa is better than Damnoen Saduak. It has a relaxed atmosphere and not as touristy as Damnoen Saduak. I enjoyed it very much. Though I was there in mid afternoon so I didn't get to see the late afternoon floating market. But I will come back to visit in the future.

Hey, I can see my granddad's house in these pictures! I was eating at his place on the patio last year, and it was like "Whoa, I see white people!" This place didn't even have electricity or paved roads 25 years ago. It's so bizarre.

I went there a few months ago and of course I love it. I will be there again next week and I am pretty sure I will have the same good experience right there.

Amphawa is by far the best floating market to visit and the selection of freshly cooked food is fantastic. We visited again last Sunday and were fortunate to see visit by the Crown Princess. My Thai wife had never seen her so close before and cried when she waved. It was worth the long wait just to see my wife's reaction.

Most of the articles on that websites, including pictures, I have seen on other websites. What is the point of just copying what others have done already? Isn't that a waste of time?
