Last year Vietnameses were arrested from their home in gathering for dog meal, reported by the neighbor who hearded the crying dog being killed.
DA. charged them with animal cruelty if found guilty they could be locked up for 6 months plus the fines.
But the charge was dropped based on killing animal for food is not considered cruelty.
So this year most of the dogs are safe because it is the year of the dog. Woof ! Woof !
