Superb pictures, Betti, made me really sad that I am not going to Thailand this year to get away from this cold grey weather.

My Thai tutor at the University of Pennsylvania is from Chiang Mai. She is a Thai National Scholar. Both her parents teach school in Chiang Mai. Her father teaches math and her mom teaches english.
You seem like a very nice person. Things will be good for you.
I'll be in Chiang Mai in February for 3 days. Maybe we'll bump into each other.
