Richard,
I really need to know, I'm coming to Thailand in a few weeks and want to take many pictures. Do you have a digital camera? How are you able to take such vibrant pictures? You must me a professional photographer. Please tell me what king of camera do you use?!!

Keeps those pictures coming!

Thanks for the kind words Alice. Most digital cameras would do the trick. Though I would advise to get a camera with a good optical zoom. Mine has x 6 but you can buy x 10 these days. These allows you to get candid shots. My digital camera is getting a bit old now. It is only 3 megapixels compared to the new ones which are 8 or so. But, I am still happy with the results.

My main camera is a fujifilm. It is bulky like a SLR camera. I also carry a Sanyo Xacti or my Sony Cybershot as a backup. These are both small and I carry them around all the time. The Sony doesn't really have vibrant colours but it is a good snapshot camera. The Sanyo is also also able to take DVD video which is great. During festivals like Songkran I usually take about 500 pictures a day.The odds are that at least a few of those pictures would be decent!
