Sawasdee Pei Mai Richard!

Thanks for the updates on the festival but I am so jealous I can't be there!

I was actually planning to be in Thailand for my first time this month just for Songkhran but like the song by John Lennon goes "Life is what happens to you when your busy making other plans" Maybe next year ;)

Btw..just what IS the deal with the white powder? What does it symbolize?

mii sanuuk took kon!

Happy New Year!

I had lived in Thailand from August last year to February this year. it is almost six monthes. It is regretful that I'm back to China now. I wish I could be there and took part in the merriest festival. I love Thailand.

I am in the american Navy and my ship pulled into Pattaya for Sonkran last year. It was easily one of the most fun times I've ever had. I'll remember Sonkran for the rest of my life. I had intended on being there this year, but life has many changes. Maybe next year. I know I'll get back just not when.

Good. I feel Life is always promising, life is very beautiful. So we should keep a positive attitude. Is it right?
