I kinda like KHANOM KROK too, but they're so rare to be found in the city lately! I just like the plain ones with no vegetables in it btw.

Boy do I love Kanom Klok!!! I have taken cooking classes from Kasma and we made these absolutely delicious morsels. The pan is the most difficult thing to find outside of Thailand. I have found that the food market in Krabi has a large assortment of Kanom Klok, some are even green colored (from pandanus leaf)! A sprinkling of sugar on these when warm sends me right to heaven! Thanks for the pictures. I plan to add a little sprite to the batter next time. We'll see what happens!!!!!!
