What is your lucky colour?

Did you know that in Thailand that each day of the week is assigned a different colour for clothes you wear? I didn't really know about this at first but after a few years I was starting to get curious as to why people were giving me a different coloured shirt for my birthday. They were also telling me which day I should wear them! I started to get suspicious when they bought me a bright orange shirt and said I should wear it on Thursdays. That is when I discovered that each day of the week has its own colour.
Sunday - red
Monday - cream/yellow
Tuesday - pink
Wednesday - green
Thursday - orange/brown
Friday - blue
Saturday - black/purple
These days I have to wear a white shirt and tie at school. So, I don't pay attention to it so much any more. Anyway, you don't see many Thai people wearing the correct colour clothes for each day. But, some might wear a small piece of clothing, like a tie or handkerchief, which is the correct colour.
I think many people pay more attention to the colour of their day of birth. This then becomes their lucky colour. Some households might tie two colours around the pole of a spirit house - one for the husband and one for the wife. Even royal flags show the day the person was born. For example, Princess Sirindhorn was born on a Saturday so her flag is purple. The King was born on a Monday so his flag is yellow. The Queen was born on a Friday so her flag is blue.

One of my problems is that when i am asked about the day i was born it is difficult for me to reply. Since i was born at night on the 26th in Scotland i was told by a fortune teller once that since i live in thailand my b-day hour is put forward 7 hours so therefore i was born on the 27th, understand? so is it sat or sun? and another fortune teller told me, no, no you dont put your b-day forward etc.. It confuses me somewhat.
I like to put the idea of my b-day forward as it would mean that i was born within the same hour of the same date of the same month as my daughter, 27 feb.

Use a time according to your place of birth (longitude and latitude are also an important part of your stars and start), not a time of a place where a fortune teller stay.

This is terrible news, my least favourite colour has always been purple but now it turns out that's my birth colour! maybe by the time I was born, it was actually Sunday in Thailand (red being my favourite colour).

Your birthday is on a different day each year. It is impossible to work out the actual day you were born if you just give the date for your birthday. I would need toknow the year you were born too!

I am an American living in Thailand for 3 months to volunteer teaching English. As of today i have been here for 31 days. I was born on a Thursday and found out that my color was orange/brown which creates a problem. I don't like orange or brown. I guess that orange is a good color while in Thailand since that is the color that the monks wear, but i think i will stick to the brown when i get back to the states.

No lucky colour as far as I know. Though today is blue. And the lucky animal is wild boar (or pig).

As it happens, my husband and I are both red. I like this cosmic connection! However, not all are happy with the recent findings: both of my girls wish they were another color! This could be a good illustration of how our preferences change through life. Perhaps Sophie will change her mind that "Pink is the worst color of the world;" and Laney will become to like her blue, rather than lamenting the pink loss.
In any case, we vacationed in Thailand in 2003 and loved it beyond imagination. Thank you, dear people!!!

many people associate different days with different colours for some reason...
i came into this life with past life memories, the gift of tongues and colour coded days, and months... do you think i could make sense of this? or perhaps date it to a xcertain time?
