   I was wondering if you could help me out. I will be travelling with a friend in Thailand who is asthmatic. Two years ago we were in Chiang Mai in January. He was bothered with the pollution at the time. I was wondering if Chiang Rai this January would be any better. I understand that the farmers burn their fields every year at about this time.
