You may remember that earlier this year I was in Chiang Mai for a holiday. The main reason I had gone was to check out the Thai cooking schools. In the end I chose A Lot of Thai for my Thai cookery course which turned out to be an excellent choice. I had a really enjoyable day at the home of Yui and Kwan as well as at their local market. I really did learn a lot and will definitely go back for another course the next time I am in Chiang Mai.
We haven’t had a competition on thai-blogs.com for a while so I was delighted when Kwan agreed to donate some of his cooking books for an exclusive competition. I really love his book. Everyone gets a free copy when they attend the cooking course. I liked it so much that we bought a big stack to sell on BuyThaiBooks.com. It not only has recipes, but also pictures and explanations of the vegetables you can buy at the markets. A handy guide to Thai food.Visit the book store for more scans.
