
This is the Ancient City and my favourite location in Samut Prakan. If you tilt your head to the right you can see that it resembles the shape of Thailand. Sukhumwit Road is in the bottom left-hand corner. At the time this picture was taken the roads through the park were red dirt. This helps you see the shape of the park.

This final picture is of Chulalongkorn Fort on the west bank. The fortress was built in 1893 and only fired its guns once in anger against the French. This area is now open to the public. There is a training ship which you can explore and of course the gun pits. There is also now a mangrove forest boardwalk and an outdoor gun museum.
